该剧是迪士尼频道2010年开播的家庭题材情景喜剧。故事围绕六口之家Duncan一家展开。原本已经有三个孩子的Duncan夫妇又生下第四个孩子，可爱的女孩Charlotte，大家都叫她Charlie。姐姐Teddy拿起DV摄像机，记录下Charlie成长中所经历的以及这个家中所发生的一切有趣、有意义的事情，以便在Charlie长大后让她看到她的成长之路，并给予她一些生活的建议。这是迪士尼频道近年来少有的一部以家庭为中心的情景喜剧。。The plot involves a woman who sets out a well-intentioned plan of bringing together her dysfunctional family in the wake of the family’s matriarch, her mother-in-law. She deceives her husband and others in to believe their mother left rules for the family to follow in the lead up to Christmas.
