解放前的旧上海，各方势力汇集于此，此消彼长，横行霸道。青龙帮与麒麟帮两大黑道势力为争霸主地位经常大打出手，血溅街头。某天，青龙帮三名成员横尸街头，医科大学女教授于胜男（齐芳 饰）以及巡捕房“老虎探长”钟朗（钟汉良 饰）、实习探员韩非（释小龙 饰）相继赶到现场调查。结果发现死者均系枪法极准的高手用“达姆弹”射杀，钟朗断定凶手是有着军方背景的狙击手所为。与此同时自称北伐军独立团老兵的刘天河出现在他们面前，并向众人透露凶手的真正身份。另一方面，青龙帮老大认定手下是为麒麟帮所害，双方剑拔弩张，上海滩即将掀起一场史无前例的血雨腥风。 为了避免更大规模的械斗，钟朗必须争分夺秒找到真凶……。珍妮佛杰森李在本片饰演一位工于心计的狠毒妻子。 友善、博学的克蓝是一个一等一的好人，但他却有一个狠毒、不忠的妻子，不但与柯林医生暗通款曲，还秘谋联合一起杀掉克蓝。于是，他们从一条怪鱼中抽取一种令人产生心脏病的血浆，并注入克蓝体内，本以为克蓝会因此而毙命，没想到，怪事发生：克蓝复活了！ 绝望无助的克蓝，从坟墓里爬了出来，恐怖复仇行动就此展开......。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
