该剧的主人公是一名来自湖南农村的姑娘小菊，她原本是到深圳与未婚夫结婚，结果却接到了未婚夫几天前出车祸去世的噩耗。独自留在异乡的小菊虽然到处碰壁，却凭着乐观的态度不断奋斗，最终找到了自己的位置和爱情。。Heavily influenced by the ghostly series THE KINGDOM, the sleepwalker Karen seeks answers to the unresolved questions of the series in order to save the hospital from doom. Sound asleep one night, Karen wanders into the darkness and inexplicably ends up in front of the hospital.
